Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link
If you would like to go walking to keep fit, make friends or just explore the local area, the Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link could be for you. Our new initiative aims to take the searching out of walking and provide you with details of the walks and walking groups in this area saving you time and effort finding out what’s going on.
Within the Blackwater Valley area there are a great many walking groups offering a surprisingly large number of walks: everything from one-mile health walks to all-day hikes, with plenty of walks of varying lengths in-between, in fact there’s something to suit practically everyone.
The Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link provides you with a quick, convenient and easy way of finding out about literally hundreds of walks. By becoming a member you’ll regularly receive details of walks taking place in the area, so that finding out what’s happening on a particular day is just a matter of consulting the Link List. Imagine no more searching the papers or the internet to find a place to walk or people to walk with! What’s more we’ll send you regular updates so that you’ll always have details of walks taking place in the Blackwater Valley area. We anticipate that in every quarter we’ll be sending you details of around 150 walks.

Not only will these walks provide you with details of somewhere new to walk, but we’ll try and make them seasonal so that you can explore and discover a different part of the area each month. The length of these walks will vary.
