In the Footsteps of Highwaymen & Herders  

Historically the route across Yateley Common was used by travellers trying to avoid highwaymen on the main roads. But on Wednesday 20th April it serves as the first stretch of a circular walk organised by the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership.

The Changing Face of Sandhurst                              

Sandhurst has changed over the past 200 years, particularly since the arrival of the military college, but the surrounding countryside still remains. Fruitful recreation

How a volunteer group recreated a piece of Tongham history. Seventeen volunteers in Tongham, Surrey, gave up their Saturday last week, 15th January, to plant 50 fruit trees to recreate an orchard that once grew where a housing estate now stands.
