Tongham Wood
 Tongham Wood is semi-natural woodland, with old oak stands and coppice stools ideal for dog walkers and children. The area forms part of Surrey County Council’s biodiversity action plan.
Originally project funding came from the Forestry Commission and Surrey County Council, with support from Guildford Borough and Tongham Parish Council as part of urban regeneration and woodland improvement.
The project has promoted community action in conservation and recreation, for the enjoyment and well being of the whole community. It is hoped the work will protect the area from further development.
