Tongham Walk

Thank you to everyone who came on our inaugural walk on Thursday 28th February exploring the countryside to the east of Tongham. The picture on the right gives a  flavour of some of the countryside we passed through

We were delighted with the turnout, a group of 20, plus two dogs, who were both experienced walkers (you could tell!).

Although the sky remained grey throughout and it threatened rain, we were fortunate that it remained dry for the walk, which took in part of the old railway track as well as passing along quiet country lanes and by open fields and woodland. We found a convenient spot amongst the trees for our refreshment stop where I took the group picture on the right.
