Male Mandarin

20+ Waxwings, 15+ twitchers.

25+ Waxwings, 10+ twitchers.

Friday 14th

50+ Waxwings, 5+ twitchers from Southern England who had travelled to see them.

Wednesday 5th

5+ Redwings.    

 

Two Little Egret; Buzzard still in residence.

Saturday 1st

2 male Goldeneye.
60 Lapwing.
2 Goosander (1 male, 1 female)

 

 

Saturday 1st

9 Shoveler (6 male, 3 female) feeding on Kings Mere. 1 Green Sandpiper on muddy margins of Kings Mere.
1 Woodcock, flushed by walkers next to Heath Pond.

 

Seen at 11:30.
