Running in the Blackwater Valley
The Blackwater Valley Path is ideal for runners and joggers alike. Not only is is virtually flat, but it is also fairly quiet, making it ideal for running/jogging short distances, with links to the canal and surrounding path network for longer runs.
About eight miles of the southern section of
the Blackwater Valley Path has multi-user sections that are suitable for running (but please take care of other Path users).

If you are interested in joining a running club the Blackwater Valley Runners are a social running club with a membership made up of roughly equal numbers of male and female runners of all standards. They meet on a Wednesday evening at Aldershot Cricket Club.
