The many faces of the Blackwater Valley

Mention Blackwater Valley and what do you think of? The river, lakes, water, trees, bird song, or the road, railway lines, houses, traffic, noise…? Find out what it’s really like by joining a guided walk organised by the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership, designed to reveal the many different faces of the Valley.

Led by Sarah Broadhead, the walk starts at 10am and will take about three hours, following a route that takes the Blackwater Valley Path as well as the Basingstoke Canal. If you would like to come meet at the car park just inside the main entrance of Frimley  Lodge Park off Sturt Road, Frimley at 10 am on Tuesday 21st September. Booking unnecessary, ring 01252 331353 for further details. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult and please wear suitable footwear.
