Monday 22nd

Two Male Goosander. Little Owl (quite charming).

Wednesday 17th

Pair of Graylag Geese.
First Bumblebee of the year.
 

Seen late morning  at Hollybush Pits by Chris & Angela Kay.

Tuesday 16th

Tree Creeper

Seen mid-afternoon in the garden of The Old Ford, North Camp, by Chris & Angela Kay. Location map

Wednesday 10th

Snipe was ‘put up’ by a dog.

Seen at Shepherd Meadow in the wet field alongside the footpath between the Marshall Road car park and Christchurch Drive railway crossing by Bernard Baverstock.

Monday 1st

Little Grebe (hardly uncommon in the lakes through the Valley but rarely seen actually in the river and never at this location).
