Dis cover Some Back Paths of Farnborough
What can be more inviting than a pleasant walk in the fresh air on a summer morning. If this appeals to you then sign up for a guided walk at your leisure on Tuesday 23rd August with the Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust.
Starting at the Blackwater Retail Park, Farnborough (formerly and still better known as Farnborough Gate) the five-mile walk will take you through Grants Moor - which the Trust has newly restored with finance from TAG Farnborough Airport to improve the wildlife habitat - and then southwards along the Blackwater Valley Path. We will return using some of the lesser known paths of Farnborough. The pace will be leisurely, the atmosphere friendly and the scenery interesting. Please note there is some roadside walking and certain areas could be muddy after rain so watch the weather and dress accordingly. Suitable footwear is recommended.
Anyone interested in joining this walk should phone 01252 331353 to register their interest. There is no fee but donations to the Trust are always welcome. Meet for a 10am start at Blackwater Retail Park Farnborough, GU14 8BL. Grid ref: SU 873 574
