Monday 13th

2 Green Sandpiper. Common Sandpiper. All on new workings. 

 Little Owl around the pony paddock as usual. Seen 7:00

Sunday 12th

Female Emperor Dragonfly ovipositing (see picture)

105 Lapwing 7 Green Sandpiper. All  on new workings. 7

Saturday 11th

2 Oystercatcher on the gravel islands from where the stock pile has been removed. 7 Green Sandpiper  All on new workings.

Friday 10th

5 Green Sandpiper. 6 Little Ringed Plover. 1 Redshank. 70 Lapwing. All on new workings.

Thursday 9th

7 Green Sandpiper on the new worklings.

Tuesday 7th

Buzzard In the trees behind the church. 

Sparrowhawk (male). 

2 Kestrel (1 adult, 1 juvenile. Juvenile calling adult bird in the trees behind Swallowfield Church.

Monday 6th

5  Mandarin Duck (female/eclipse) all seen on the river.

5 Green Sandpiper.

Sunday 5th

Greenshank

Seen at Tice's Meadow (Farnham Quarry). Sighting via www.sbclub.ukonline.co.uk Location map Location map

Saturday 4th

Greenshank   Seen on new diggings, but flushed out by the diggerers and trucks at 07:35 and it flew toward Colebrook Lake.

5 Green Sandpiper, 2 in front of Colebrook Hide 3 on the new diggings.

Common Sandpiper.

3 Little Owl I adult and 1 juvenile by the paddock, another adult by Longwater Road.

Friday 3rd

Redshank.  2 Green Sandpiper Common Sandpiper. All seen on Colebrook Lake.

Buzzard perched on a dead tree in new workings eating something.

Thursday 2nd

Redshank. 2 Green Sandpiper. Teal. Yellow-legged Gull Black-headed Gull (juvenile) Teal.

Wednesday 1st

Several Silver-washed Fritillary and White Admirals flying around the woodland edge

Seen around noon on the BV Path running alongside Fleet Copse by Bernard Baverstock. Location map Location map

Wednesday 1st

Yellowhammer (male). Little Owl on the paddock posts as usual. Sparrowhawk (female). 3 Green Sandpiper.
