Hantsweb Awards 2008

The Hantsweb Awards celebrate excellence in website design, accessibility and service. Open to any website based in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, the Awards have been running since 2002.

Last year we were thrilled to have been a runner-up in the Recreation & Tourism category of the Hantsweb Awards, not bad for a first attempt we thought. So we decided to have another go and entered again this year.

Nominations closed at the beginning of August and we are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the Recreation & Tourism category and are now one of the last 10 in this group. Last year there were 69 nominations in this category, but this year there are well over 100, so it’s a great achievement. Judging will now take place and the finalists in each of the 12 categories will be announced in mid-October with the overall winners announced at a special awards ceremony on 4th November.

Whatever happens we are absolutely delighted to have got so far. We’ll let you know what happens in due course.
