WALK: With the Water Babies of Eversley  10am-1pm

An opportunity to see some of the rural parts of the Blackwater Valley as you walk along field edges and through Bramshill Forest. Walk covers 5½ miles and is relatively flat although there will be some uneven ground and part of the route can get very muddy and wet, so please wear suitable footwear. TALK: A Future for Frensham  2.45pm

Guildford Natural History Society invite you to listen to Waverley Ranger Steve Webster who will be talking about Frensham, an important local heathland  its wildife and future management plans.  Cost: Members free, visitors £2. WALK: A Date With Nature 9am-12.30am

Join the Wokingham and Bracknell branch of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds on a monthly walk around Dinton Pastures Country Park. Children under 18 must be accompanied. Time: 9am–12.30pm. Meet in the main car park at Dinton Pastures Country Park.  Cost: £1, children free (proceeds to RSPB).
  

TALK: Astronomy   7pm

Are you fascinated by the night sky? The Reading Astronomical Society holds a regular series of basic astronomy talks inklcuding advice on using telescopes always available. WORKSHOP: Basket Making   10am-4pm

Learn how use traditional English basket-making techniques to make baskets that are robust, functional, unique and very beautiful. Suitable for beginners and advanced students may choose their own project. Costs £60 (includes all materials and refreshments). WALK: Farnham Town Walk    11am

Join a local guide and take a walk of around 2-3 miles to discover more about the history of this Georgian town. Meet at the Wagon Yard car park at the bottom of Downing Street, Farnham. Costs £3 for adults, children free. All the money goes to local chariites. For more details ring 01252 718119. This walk is held on the first Sunday of each month.
 

DOG-FRIENDLY WALK: Riverside Ramble   10am-11am

Enjoy a short Ranger-led route exploring lanes, paths and tracks with your pet. A great chance to discover new places and meet other dogs. Walk of about 2 miles will start at Shepherd Meadows car park, off Marshall Way, Sandhurst GU47 0FH. May include walking on pavement when dogs will be required to be under close control on a lead. EVENT: Conservation Groups’ Fair 2.30pm -4.30pm

Looking for small christmas gifts and stocking fillers?  Then come along to the Field Centre at Rowhill Nature Reserve and browse around the stands of local conservation groups. Not only could you find some unusual small gifts, but you will also know that your money is going to a good cause.  Light refreshments will be available. WALK: Friend’s of Lavell’s Lake Bird Walk  9am-12 noon

Lavell’s Lake is rich in bird life, which is attracted to the reed beds, shallow scrapes and quiet surroundings. Two hides are available for viewing. On the second Sunday of every month join the Friends of Lavell’s Lake for a walk around the Park. Cost: Members free, donation of £1 for non-members. WALK: The Countryside in Autumn - Popes, Peacocks & an Amen  10.30am

This is one of a series of regular mid-week circular walks organised by the Bracknell Forest R.o.W. Ranger. There are three categories: Moderate, Rambler and All Day.
