WALK: Evening Stroll from Sandhurst 7pm - 8.30pm

Join the Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link for an evening stroll round Snaprails and Wildmoor Heath. The walk will cover about 3 miles with an optional pub visit afterwards. WALK: A Date With Nature

Join the Wokingham and Bracknell branch of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds on a monthly walk around Dinton Pastures Country Park. Children under 18 must be accompanied. Time: 9am – 12.30pm. Meet in the main car park at Dinton Pastures Country Park, Davis Street, Hurst, Berks RG10 0TH. Cost: £1, children free (proceeds to RSPB).
 

EVENT: Guildford Festival Boat Gathering 12 noon

This year the NT River Wey Navigation celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Boat Gathering – fun and games by the river at Millmead Island in the heart of Guildford from 12 noon. The decorated boat pageant will take place at 4pm, this year’s theme is ‘Christmas Comes Early’. Children’s activities will be led by the Trust’s learning team and Woking Sea Rangers. FAMILY EVENT:  "Fur & Feathers" Wildlife Fun Day

This annual event at Brickfields Country Park includes farm animals, Birds of Prey display, stalls, displays from local environment and wildlife groups, hot and cold refreshments, games, quizzes, tombola, cake stall and our own brand "Brickfields Park" jams, a very popular item. Coffee and tea from our refreshments are all "Fair Trade" products. Millers Ark Animals are a popular attraction drawing young and old alike to their interactive display of Ducks, Goats, Geese, Rabbits, Cattle, Chickens Pigs and other farmyard animals. FAMILY WALK: Bird Walk 9.30am- 11.30am

Join a Surrey Heath Ranger for a circular bird walk starting from Frimley Lodge Park taking in the Basingstoke Canal and woodlands on the way. WALK: Farnham Town Walk    11am-1pm

Join a local guide and take a walk of around 2-3 miles to discover more about the history of this Georgian town. Meet at the Wagon Yard car park at the bottom of Downing Street, Farnham. WALK: Orchid Walk at Greywell Moors 2pm-4pm

Peter Vaughan will lead a walk to see the display of orchids in this Wildlife Trust reserve. The walk will include a stroll around Greywell Moors and the field next to the Pumping Station. WALK: Health Walk with a Ranger – From Hill to Copse 10am

WALK: Nightjar Walk 8pm

An evening walk to hopefully see and hear Nightjars and possibly Woodcock and other heathland birds. Join Reserve Officer Elliot Fairs, on a walk around this lovely bog and wet heath reserve. Learn about the recent work and see some of the results including abundant displays of orchids. WALK:    Specimen Tree Walk 1pm-1.50pm

This will be a guided tour of about 1 mile looking at over 100 different tree specimens on the University of Surrey Campus. WILDLIFE WALK: Dragons, Damsels & Wild Flowers 10am–12 noon

Join local dragonfly expert Tony Mundell on a walk at Elvetham Heath Local Nature Reserve to see and learn more about these amazing insects and some of our native wild flowers.   The village pond, Elvetham Heath, just past Morrison’s supermarket.  Duration 2 hours. WALK:  Sunnydown and Beyond 10am-12.30pm

A gentle walk of around 5 miles through town and countryside with some hills. There is an initial steep climb up the Mount from the town centre. If you wish to, bring a picnic to eat, overlooking Guildford at the end of the walk. Meet at Henley Fort, at the end of the tarmac road up the Mount.
