Blackwater Valley Canoe Club
BVCC is a Club for all ages, interests and abilities. It was founded in 1986 and now has almost 100 members and is affiliated to the British Canoe Union (BCU).
Unlike many clubs, the BVCC does not specialise in one particular aspect of kayaking or canoeing. It offers the opportunity to gain experience of several dimensions of the sport:
- flat water and white water kayaking/canoeing
- marathon racing
- slalom
- polo and surfing
The club’s primary goal is to get as many new people into the sport of Canoeing as possible.
