Basingstoke Canal Canoe Club

The Basingstoke Canal Canoe Club (BCCC) is a family club which aims to introduce parents and children to canoeing. The Club was formed in 1979 and is affiliated to the British Canoe Union. The BCCC is one of the largest and most diverse canoeing clubs in the south of England:

  • Canoeing for all abilities from ages 8-80 years
  • Swimming pool sessions
  • Canoe/kayak racing
  • River and sea trips
  • Surfing or simple leisurely canoeing
  • Training at the Basingstoke Canal Centre, Mytchett.

To provide members with training facilities and safe paddling the Club encourages members to become as qualified as they are able. The Club is fortunate in having a number of BCU qualified Instructors and Senior Instructors and this enables the Club to run courses and trips with the maximum degree of safety and provides the opportunity to run a wide range of courses.
