Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre
   
The Canal Visitor Centre at Mytchett is the perfect place to start exploring the Basingstoke Canal or simply relax and watch the boats pass by. It provides information on all aspects of the Canal, offering a detailed map, historical references, video display and replica barge. At the information point find out things to see and do on the canal and discover how it is managed for everyone to enjoy.

The Canal Centre also sell fishing permits and canal boat licenses.
