Single Greylag Goose (hardly rare but never seen here before).

Peacock butterfly

Several Orange Tips first of the year.

A pair of Red Kite quartering a field with young lambs in!

Tuesday 14th

Orange Tip, Brimstone. Large White.  Blackcap. Goldfinch. Blue Tit collecting nesting materials. 

All seen around 10:45 at Ash Lock Cottage by Christine Reeves.Location map

Blackcap.

Yellowhammer, singing male on new workings.

Seen 09:10.

Garden Warbler

Seen early afternoon at Carrington Field by Chris and Angela Kay. Location map Location map

Sunday 5th

Little Owl in the old willow at the bottom of the paddock by the car park. 
3 Goosander (red heads) Initially asleep on Plover Island, later seen flying off west.
Little Egret on Colebrook Lake North.
6 Redshank at least 6 mobile.

2 Treecreeper. 2 Stonechat (1m, 1f)

Saturday 4th

3 Goosander (female). 2 Pochard (female). 5 Wigeon. 6 Teal. 
7 Egyptian Geese.  1 Shelduck.
2 Shoveler. 88 Tufted Duck.
16 Cormorant. 1 Redwing. 1 Barn Owl and 1 Tawny Owl heard.
