Scenic Views Over Aldershot

See Aldershot like you’ve never seen it before on this walk organised by the Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link on Sunday 28th September. The walk covers about 5 miles with one steepish hill, but it’s worth it for the varied landscape, scenic views from an Iron Age hill fort and the chance to see the hidden reservoirs of Aldershot. In fact it offers some of the best views of the area (weather permitting!).

If you would like to come along, please meet for a 10am start in the Bourley Road car park by Tweseldown Race Course nr Fleet. (the large stony car park at grid ref; SU 832 511, not the other one further along Bourley Road towards Aldershot). Wet weather clothing plus suitable footwear are recommended. Any children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be kept on a lead. For more details ring 01252 331353 or visit www.blackwater-valley.org.uk.

This walk is organised by the BV Walkers’ Link , which aims to keep members informed about the walks and walking groups in the Blackwater Valley area whilst regularly providing advice and encouragement about walking.  Membership costs £13pa and anyone interested in finding out more can write to Walkers’ Link, Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership, Ash Lock Cottage, Government Road, Aldershot GU11 2PS.
