Heathland, hills & history
See Aldershot like you’ve never seen it before on this walk organised by the Blackwater Valley Walkers’ Link on Saturday 25th June. The walk covers about five miles and combines some of the area’s heathland and history with a few hills, one of which will give unrivalled views of the area around Caesar’s Camp an old Iron Age hill fort. In fact the walk probably offers some of the best views of the area (weather permitting)!
If you would like to come along, please meet for a 10am start in the Wellington Statue car park, Claycart Road, Aldershot GU11 1QA. Wet weather clothing plus suitable footwear are recommended. Any children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be kept on a lead. For more details ring 01252 331353.
This walk is organised by the BV Walkers’ Link , which aims to keep members informed about the walks and walking groups in the Blackwater Valley area whilst regularly providing advice and encouragement about walking.
