After the snow...

It’s not surprisingly after the amount of snow we experienced last week that when it did melt we experienced flooding along certain parts of the Valley. It wasn’t helped by the fact that over a month’s rain fell in just one night on Monday 9th. These pictures show the extent of the flooding. The top two show Hawley Meadow on Tuesday 10th February. The bottom picture is of the pond at Snaky Lane. The small comparison pictures give you a better idea of the extent of the flooding.
